Xiating Chen is a water resources engineer based in Seattle, Washington. Previously, as a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota, she studied urban trees' functions in both stormwater regulation and heat mitigation.
In addition to her dedication of implementing nature-based solutions, she is also a musician with a deep passion for connecting arts, ecology and environmental stewardship.
